Cape Cod Wednesday Night – Archie Emerson

Archie is the founding and current Pastor of Ocean State Baptist Church in Smithfield, RI. Archie and his wife Linda started Ocean State Baptist in 1975 with only their family shortly after graduating from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

After 40 years of faithful leadership God has grown Ocean State Baptist Church from humble beginnings with three people in a rented bank to over a thousand weekly attendees.. Archie’s vision and faithful leadership have made him both a leader and a mentor to a generation of New England pastors. The Emersons are the parents of two grown children, Tammy and Paul.

Dick K.P. Yueis the Philip J. Solondz Professor of Engineering, the Skolkovo Foundation Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and Professor of Mechanical and Ocean Engineering at MIT.

Professor Yue is a long-time MIT’er, having received all his degrees (S.B., S.M. and Sc.D.) in Civil Engineering from MIT. He has been a faculty member in the MIT School of Engineering since 1983

Cape Cod Tuesday Night – Mark Batterson

Mark Batterson is the New York Times bestselling author of The Circle Maker, The Grave Robber, A Trip around the Sun, and Chase the Lion (September 2016 release). He is the lead pastor of National Community Church – one church with eight campuses in Washington, DC where he has championed the Gospel in a secular society. Mark has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University and lives on Capitol Hill with his wife, Lora, and their three children.

Cape Cod Tuesday Night – Jen

Jen serves as pro bono CEO for CHILDREN IN CHRIST (“CIC”), a ministry focused on reaching and maturing children with His Love and Word so they can lead others to Christ. The ministry currently serves 20 African countries across the 10/40 Window, with over 18,000 inspired and equipped indigenous local church pastors and volunteers ministering to over 200,000 children weekly. CIC operates at the core of engagement with Muslims and many of these precious children come from over 100 of the most unreached people groups in the world. By God’s grace, in 2015 alone over 78,527 children received Christ as Lord and Savior.

Jennifer received her BA from Yale and MBA from Harvard. She, her husband Adrian and their three children lived in Tanzania, East Africa for several years and will soon be relocating to Cambodia. For Jen, the blessing of nurturing and discipling her own kids and now also sharing the love and truth of Jesus with a continent of children is an unspeakable and humbling surprise, privilege and joy.

Cape Cod Monday Night – Dr. Gordon MacDonald

Dr. Gordon MacDonald is an author, speaker, and teacher. He serves as editor-at-large of Leadership Journal and as chancellor of Denver Seminary. “I am in that stage of life,” he says, “when I feel the call to be a spiritual father to a younger generation.”

MacDonald was a pastor for more than forty years, 21 of those years at Grace Chapel, Lexington, Massachusetts. He also led other congregations in New York City, Southern Illinois and Kansas. For three years MacDonald was president of Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship.

Cape Cod Monday Night – Steve Van Winkle

Steve Van Winkle has served as pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bozeman, Montana, since 1994. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married over twenty-five years and have three children.

Steve is a noted author within the BBFI and has numerous articles to his credit. He is an adjunct faculty member of Boston Baptist College, and holds an MA from Grace Theological Seminary. Happy Endings to Hard Days, Steve’s first book, was released by Heritage Builders Publishing in summer 2016.

Gene Appel – Eastside Christian Church, Anaheim, CA

Gene has been the senior pastor at Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim, California since October of 2008. He is a gifted leader with a passion for following Christ and a love for people. Gene coaches church leaders around the world on how to lead churches through healthy change. He has served as lead pastor at Willow Creek Community Church as well as Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, which grew from 450 to 8,000 in weekly services. He has also co-authored the book “How to Change Your Church Without Killing It.” He is husband to Barbara and father of three.

Mark Milioni – Five Goals of BBC

Mark Milioni has been the president of Baptist Bible College since May, 2012, an alumnus since 1988. He has served as senior pastor in Michigan and Ohio. He has two earned doctorate degrees in communication and leadership. Mark is a good friend of mine. Many have mixed up his former Michigan church in Albion and my church in Adrian.
